Day 3 - Steps, Sea, and New Experiences

En nuestro tercer día en Kavala ya empezamos a acostumbrarnos al ritmo de este viaje: despertarnos con calma, disfrutar de un desayuno con vistas al mar y emprender la ya familiar subida hasta el instituto. Hoy los hemos contado: ¡168 escalones nos separan de nuestro destino!

Durante la mañana, terminamos de grabar nuestros vídeos y algunos grupos incluso comenzaron con la edición. Lo que vamos viendo promete mucho: ¡hay trabajos realmente creativos y con un resultado espectacular!

Después, disfrutamos de un delicioso gyros y de una larga y animada sobremesa con nuestros compañeros griegos. La tarde la dedicamos a algo muy especial: bañarnos en el mar Egeo. Pasamos un rato precioso en la orilla, observando los colores del mar, pintando y compartiendo momentos de tranquilidad y amistad.

Al regresar, aprovechamos para comprar algunos recuerdos, pasear por el centro y cenar en el puerto de Kavala, con el sonido del mar de fondo. Y, como broche final, nos dimos un capricho con unos exquisitos pastelitos típicos antes de volver al alojamiento para descansar y recargar energías para el día siguiente.

On our third day in Kavala, we are already getting used to the rhythm of this trip: waking up slowly, enjoying a breakfast with views of the sea, and embarking on the now familiar climb to the school. Today we counted them: 168 steps separate us from our destination!

During the morning, we finished filming our videos, and some groups even started editing. What we’re seeing looks very promising: there are truly creative projects with spectacular results!

Later, we enjoyed a delicious gyros and a long, lively after-lunch chat with our Greek classmates. In the afternoon, we dedicated time to something very special: swimming in the Aegean Sea. We spent a wonderful time on the shore, admiring the colors of the sea, painting, and sharing moments of calm and friendship.

Upon returning, we took the opportunity to buy some souvenirs, stroll through the town center, and have dinner at the port of Kavala, with the sound of the sea in the background. And, as a sweet finale, we treated ourselves to some exquisite local pastries before heading back to the accommodation to rest and recharge for the next day.
