¡Queridos compañeros!

¡Ya estamos en Kavala! Después de un viaje muy, muy largo —dos furgonetas, dos aviones y un autobús— por fin hemos llegado a esta preciosa ciudad costera, donde viviremos nuestra experiencia Erasmus+.

Durante el trayecto hicimos escala en Bilbao y Fráncfort, donde aprovechamos para probar refrescos locales y, cómo no, degustar la comida típica de cada lugar.

Aunque dormimos poco, nos levantamos llenos de ilusión por conocer a nuestros compañeros griegos, que nos recibieron con gran hospitalidad. Visitamos su escuela —¡con unas vistas al mar impresionantes!— y comenzamos a trabajar en nuestros cortometrajes.

Por la tarde, disfrutamos de una visita turística por el casco antiguo y el castillo de Kavala, donde pudimos apreciar la fascinante mezcla de culturas que ha dejado huella en esta ciudad a lo largo de los siglos.

We’ve finally arrived in Kavala! After a very, very long journey —two vans, two planes, and a bus— we made it to this beautiful coastal city, where we’ll be enjoying our Erasmus+ experience.

Along the way, we stopped in Bilbao and Frankfurt, where we had the chance to try some local drinks and, of course, taste the traditional food!

Even though we didn’t get much rest, we woke up full of excitement to meet our Greek partners, who welcomed us warmly. We visited their school —with an amazing view of the sea!— and started working on our short films.

In the afternoon, we went sightseeing around the old town and the castle of Kavala, where we could appreciate the fascinating blend of cultures that have shaped this city over the centuries.
